♡ Compassvale Mast ღ Our Future Home - 17th March, Sunday ♡

my 100th blog post
Appointment timing given was 10:45am but we decided to meet at 9:00am to view the fixtures & fittings, in case the slowpoke is late & to have breakfast.

Optional Component Scheme that we didn't get as we decided to find private interior designers instead
ෆ's porridge meal, my ala carte blueberry pancakes w/ scrambled eggs it's meh after trying Strictly Pancakes
too good to be true, we got 8, 30% off vouchers to Legoland
so nervous & excited
There are only 465 4-room units for Compassvale Mast but our balloted number is 496 so we were very worried that only low level units would be left.

Site Plan of Compassvale Mast
The Sengkang Project that we balloted was applicable for both Compassvale Mast & Rivervale Delta. If there are no units left at Compassvale Mast, we might have to get Rivervale Delta or ballot for other areas again.
But we're so persistent to live near the mrt that Rivervale Delta is not within our consideration.

We wanted to get Block 215A unit #14-514 as the blocks nearer to the mrt station are only left with lower level units. We made a list of 14 other choices but they are all lower than 10th floor & we're not pleased with the choices.
So many issues to consider, not living near the carpark, playground, lrt track & low level units or the evening sun. We managed to get a high level unit that's not in our choices at the last minute when we found out that #14-514 is taken.
our future block & ෆ likes floor-to-ceiling windows
I'm so glad that our home is so near the mrt & we do not have to take the lrt. Recently the lrt in Punggol is so cramp, people have to lean against each other for support & sometimes i have to be squeezed or take the next lrt.

Now we're left with preparing documents for the grant which it's a huge hassle for me. Within a period of 1 year, i got 2 schools & a job. I've to find documents proving that i studied at the 2 schools & provide CPF contribution statement.

looking forward to a whole new life together with you my ෆ
To be honest, i've always felt that we're too young (i'm only 21, Lf is 23) to get a flat so early although we are in a r/s for more than 3 years. Because getting a flat means getting married too. I'm definitely not ready to be a wife within 2-3 years' time.

Maybe it's only me as Lf was the one who suggested to try our luck since it was rumoured that you have to try a couple of times/years before getting a balloted flat of your choice.

I'm thankful for Lf’s matured suggestion at that age when everyone’s mindsets were to enjoy/play/spend/overseas trips instead of settling down early.
