We had breakfast just right beside the stall from Day 2 that serves even nicer noodles. Then we went to another temple to pray, approximately 20 mins by cab.

We bought lots of bread for the fishes. "Fishes get to eat, we get to eat too." But my mom told me i'm just being a glutton, by feeding the fishes i get to eat meaty fishes

Went back to shower, wore ღ's new top out & off for lunch~

ღ & me prefer the sour soup noodles but their noodles thicken soup is also nice but just a tad too spicy for us. The flavour of the pink noodles is brewed bean curd, something unique but not for our taste buds except Bestie who is able to accept it.
26 bowls isn't a lot as the serving size is small & the guys kept saying they will be able to eat 20 bowls if they're famished.

They serve complimentary coconut drinks although their toppings isn't take-your-own-buffet-style but it's worth it just because theirs is the nicest.

Bangkok's chicken just tastes so delicious that i always have at least 1 everyday. We spent at least 7 hours at JJ Market & Union mall before heading back to the hotel to freshen up.

Bestie's Birthday~

The guys cooked up some excuses while Bestie was in the washroom & hurried out to buy her a cake.
I went over to her room to wait for them to be back, meanwhile i kept trying to persuade her to change out of her pyjamas.
"You don't want to change out of your pyjamas since we're leaving for dinner soon?"
When ღ text me to inform they're on their way back i tried to get her to change again but this Bestie is too busy taking photos of her shopping loots.

♡ BKK Day 2 - 15th August, Friday ♡

The guys woke up at 6am to go praying at a few temples like Wat Suthat, Wat Chana Songkhram Rachawora Mahawiharn & more.

Just by looking at the Buddha statues gives one a sense of peacefulness

While the guys woke up at 6am, i also woke up to go over Bestie's room but she didn't even notice i was beside her.

We girls didn't join them because the whole journey, to & fro would take at least 12 hours so we plan our girls (Bestie) day out.

Went back to the hotel to freshen up, change into new clothes & carry our new bags & caps. After which we went to MBK Center to do our nails but they don't have many nail salons & the variety of colors available are limited.

♡ BKK Day 1 - 14th August, Thursday ♡

6:30 am - Bestie's sister fetched us including Benny & ღ to the  airport.

We're so lucky to be travelling with 4 frequent travellers to BKK, they brought us around to shop & have the best Thai food that they've already tried.

ღ always have diarrhoea (traveller's diarrhoea) whenever we travel, this time round i didn't want him to feel unwell & can't enjoy our trip at ease. I read from forums & found something different from the usual advice like, "don't consume street food."

But BKK's street food are nicer & cheaper than restaurants. It's pointless going to BKK & not consume any street food.
The golden tip i got was:

"Drink the host country's yakult or yogurt to let your stomach get used to the food/water."

So the first drink we consume after touchdown was Yakult & ღ didn't had diarrhoea during the 5 days in BKK & even after we returned.
Perhaps the food in BKK is hygienic for his stomach but let's not take the risk, we shall do this for every other trip.

11:30 am - Arrival @ Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)
We then took the SA City Line from Suvarnabhumi Airport ➜ Lat Krabang  ➜ Ban Thap Chang ➜ Hua Mark ➜ Ramkhamhaeng ➜ Makkasan ➜ Rathchaprarop which costs 45฿  (1.8 SGD) per person.

They have 2 SA Express lines which costs 90฿ (3.60 SGD) for single trip & 150฿ (6 SGD) for round trip which is 2x more expensive & the waiting time for the train is at least 30-60 minutes long. We learnt our lesson the hard way when we're leaving from the hotel to the airport.
But the travelling time is 2x faster as it doesn't make stops in between but goes straight to Suvarnabhumi International Airport from Makkasan City Interchange Station.

The 93 Hotel

Every day we got to climb 2 flights of stairs as the escalator stops operating at who knows what hour at night.

4th to 5th floor

Another flight of stairs is from the 4th to 5th floor as the hotel's lift only goes up to the 4th level & our rooms are at the 5th floor.
The 93 Hotel is located at the heart of Pratunam but the amenities of the hotel isn't that great.

1st meal at BKK

The braised pork leg is super soft & not tough like the usual pork. Although we got to queue, it's only for a short while till we had seats as their service is fast. 
So pleased that the interior is fully air-conditioned as it's blistering hot outside. The wanton noodle comes in dry or soup & i like both varieties equally.

5 wanton noodles + 2 pork leg rice = 500฿ (20SGD)

The Hello Kitty House is 3 stories high & they even have a nail salon at the basement. They're really good at earning Hello Kitty lovers' money.

Abrupt ending of BKK Day 1, we return to our hotel at approximately 1 or 2am & the guys had to wake up before 7am to board the bus for their 12 hours trip of praying while the Bestie & i had sleepover, more shopping, nails' pampering & tea break while waiting for them to be back for dinner.
