Happy Birthday my Bestie~

This sums up our Bestie-ship. Annoyingly loving Too much hassle, so i didn't bother to edit the pimples away.
We had a hard time deciding what to have for dinner. It was undecided till 5:25pm on the day itself when i made the reservation. Something that we seldom eat, Peranakan Cuisine. But they do not have ala carte menu for dinner so it's like fine dining with many courses for dinner.

• Jiu Hu Char (stir-fry yam bean w/ shredded dried cuttlefish) for Kueh Pie Tee Shell

• Tumbuk Prawns Laksa Leaf on Starfruit

• Grain Fed Australian Beef Flank Satay

• Crispy Chicken Skin Sambal Telur (egg)

The Kueh Pie Tee is very normal.

Prawns are nice but not the starfruit.

My very first time trying Beef & i'm fine with the Beef satay but not the Beef for the main course.

The quail egg taste good with the crunchy chicken skin & cucumber with sambal.

Main Course

• Wok Fried Wild Caught Baby Squid, Squid Ink, Sambal Petai, Fried Shallots

• Baby Sweet Potato Leaf & Kang Kong Curry, Crispy Whitebait

• Grilled Barramundi Fillet, Dried Shrimp Sambal, Red Onion Relish

• Itek Tim Local Duck & Pork Broth, Salted Mustard Cabbage, Tomato

• BMS7 Wagyu Beef Buah Keluak, Peranakan Signature Black Nut Sauce

The potato leaf & kang kong is nice because of the tasty curry sauce.

Fillet is awesome.

Soup is average too.

The beef odor is too strong for me but the meat is tender.

Don't really enjoy the complimentary kuehs.

The Buah Keluak Ice cream is extraordinary. There's a mixture of sweet, spicy, salty, bitter, warm & cold. It's complex taste messes with your taste buds & there's poprocks that keep popping in your mouth.

I love the chendol very much & it's like beancurd texture with gula melaka & pandan jelly.

Presents for Bestie

Every year i will ask Bestie what she wants as her birthday gift as i think it's better to buy something she wants/needs than something she don't like or won't use. But this year, this Bestie can't think of what she wants until i've already made an order for Xiaomi. So it's too late to have the SG50 kitties but a SG50 pink power bank instead.

My very 1st card to Bestie is computer-made as my art (drawing & handwriting) is very bad.
Mi In-Ear Headphones Crystal Pink with Swarovski Elements.
I like it so much but they only have it in Pink or White. So i didn't get as white will turn yellow.

Mi Power Bank 5000 mAH Red (but it looks pink irl).
It's the SG50 limited edition & it's the slimmer version compared to my Mi 5000 mAh!
Oh! and the Minnie Mouse pouch to store all the stuff if not it's so unpresentable.
I realised i love the stuff that i bought for Bestie so much.
